Mesothelioma is a devastating cancer caused almost exclusively by past exposure to asbestos. It can take decades after being exposed to asbestos before symptoms appear. 

Support and promote HSE’s campaigns to help raise awareness of asbestos and how to manage it safely:  

  • Asbestos and You for tradespeople to know what to watch for, and what to do should they come across asbestos  
  • Asbestos – Your Duty for those responsible for maintenance and repair of non-domestic buildings
